THE MISSION

Casting Hope Foundation (CHF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of first responders through a unique, outdoor based wellness model.

Who do we help? CHF serves law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, ER doctors and nurses, active-duty military, and veterans through structured peer support experiences centered around therapeutic fishing and nature-based activities.

Recognizing the elevated rates of stress, trauma, and suicide within the first responder community, CHF creates safe, confidential environments where participants can decompress, connect with peers, and access meaningful support.

By combining outdoor experiences with peer engagement and pathways to professional care, the organization reduces barriers associated with stigma and traditional clinical settings.

Initially serving the Augusta, Georgia region, CHF aims to reduce suicide risk, improve resilience, and restore hope among those who serve on the front lines.
